Catherine Huckerby

Catherine Huckerby (Kitty) is an Interior Designer and lecturer based on Waiheke Island. Her in-depth experience of colour, pattern and texture in her interior design  work influences her creative practice. 

Acrylic glazes are used to build layers of colour and texture  onto the canvas. She loves the way colour can uplift and transform our mood, from tranquil blues to energising yellows,  this its what inspires her to paint.
