Emma Hughes
Emma Hughes is a painter and award winning fine art photographer based on Waiheke Island. With over 25 years experience in the photography industry, working in the fields of wedding and portraiture Emma has recently recently shut the doors on her wedding photography business, and is currently exploring new artistic horizons including painting, ceramics and fine art photography. She mostly works with mixed media, paint, charcoal, graphite and digital photography. Emma believes that there is beauty in the broken, adores textures and layers, and gets excited by beautiful light. She is part way through a Bachelor of Visual Arts at Auckland Universtiy of Technology.
